1. Will I need any money?

No, Drinks and snacks will be provided with a snack time during the event. Everything at the

Expo and during the event is covered by your registration fees.

2. Will I get a t-shirt?

Yes, all students attending will get an event t-shirt and likely some other goodies from our

sponsors and community.

3. Is this a girls only event?

No, it is promoted as a girls event so that they know the majority will be females, but males

attend every year and enjoy it!

4. What if I have more than 8 people to register?

You can register as many groups as you like, just go back and fill out another registration for the

next 8 students. If you have more than 2 groups (more than 16) coming please contact

sav.geid@gmail.com and provide the list of names and age groups of the students and we can help you

get the entire group registered.

5. What if my group is a mixture of MS and HS students?

You will have to register a group of MS and then a group of HS. Sorry we do not allow mixed

groups as they are separated by MS and HS for the actual activities and need to account for that

in the registration process.

6. I am a school/teacher, can I bring a bus full of students?

Yes, the bus loading area is located behind the school. Feel free to bring an entire bus of

students (we have had a few in the past).

7. What if I cannot afford the registration price?

Please contact us and we will make accommodations: sav.geid@gmail.com

8. Why do I have to create a user account to register?

That is a limitation of the website we are using. If you cannot pay on-line or you do not want to

create an account you can fill out a registration form and mail it in as long as you mail it in by

Jan 24th.

9. How can I register as an Adult to attend the Adult section of the event?

Registration for adults is FREE but we do ask that you submit your information so that we can

account for those attending and provide supplies for them. You can put in your information

when you register a student, or if you are not with a student/group you can register just an adult.

10. When will registration close?

On-line registration will close Wednesday night the 29th at 12am. There will be day-of

registration if the event is not full. If the event is not full we will post on the website so that

day-of registration people will know ahead of time.

11. Can 5th graders attend?

We would like to keep the event at the correct age appropriate skills and as much as we also love

our 5th graders we have asked that you keep the student registration to only Middle and High

school students.

12. What if I will be showing up late for the event?

That is quite ok, please e-mail us the students name ahead of time so that we are aware:

sav.geid@gmail.com Please also look over the Schedule posted here so that you get an idea

of where you should be and what you will be missing when you arrive.

13. What if I need to leave early?

That is also ok, but we request that you also send an e-mail letting us know who and when to

sav.geid@gmail.com Then we know to expect an early departure and can let you know where you

student will be when you show up the day of to pick up registration info. Also, that will keep us

aware of any visitors that might be at the event.

14. What should the students wear?

Something comfy, as they will be active throughout the event, this will not be an event where

you just sit at a desk!

15. What if my student has special needs?

Please put an special instructions/needs in the appropriate box when you register or e-mail us

and let us know the students name in instructions/details to sav.geid@gmail.com.

16. I am a local Tech School or Company and would like to attend the Expo, how do sign up to

attend?

It is free to host a booth at the GEID Expo but we need some info from you. Please e-mail

sav.geid@gmail.com to let us know and we will get you in contact with Courtney, our Expo

Coordinator.

17. What time should I arrive at the event?

Plan to arrive at least 15 mins before the event to find parking, and pick up your registration

packet. Tables will be set up in the entry way based on HS, MS, Group, and Adult registration.

Please proceed to your registration table.  Expo opens at 12:30 event starts at 1pm

18. I signed up as an individual, but would like to be in the same group as someone else that has

registered. Is that possible?

Please e-mail us ahead of time for these kinds of requests. That way we can put you in the
